  3. The following describes the flags to use with the executable version.
  4. The DLL version has all of the same features.

  6. The documentation available on our web site goes into more detail on these options.
  7. Using the -b option will force the program to use the current line breaks (in the case of this file, end of each sentence).
  8. You can use the -f option to tell the program what page size, font, justification, etc. you want to use.
  9. The first two parameters of the -f option are the page size.
  10. For 8 1/2 by 11, use -f 8.5,11.
  11. The next two options are font type and size.
  12. See the documentation for the full list of fonts that can be used (1 through 14).
  13. To use 8.5 by 11 with a Helvetica font at a point size of 12, use: -f 8.5,11,2,12.
  14. The next option is justification.
  15. You can use L for left, R for right, C for center or J for justify.
  16. Next are left margin, top margin, right edge, left edge and line spacing.
  17. Finally, the number of columns, spacing between columns and compression.
  18. To convert this file using an 11 point Times Roman font, use text2pdf.exe sample.txt sample.pdf -f 8.5,11,3,11.
  19. To convert this file using 2 columns along with text justified across the columns, use text2pdf.exe sample.txt sample.pdf -f 8.5,11,3,11,J,,1,,5,,2.
  20. If you want to keep the existing line breaks, add the -b option.
  21. You can also do <U>underlines</U>, <BGCOLOR=1,1,.2>highlights<BGCOLOR=1,1,1> and insert <A HREF="http://www.fytek.com">web links</A> into your text.
  22. Here is an example of changing a <FONT=2,20>font size and <FCOLOR=.2,.9,.4>color<FCOLOR=0,0,0><FONT>.
  23. To force a line break, use the \<BR\> command.<BR><BR><BR>
